Zach Milwood

Coach Zach grew up in East Texas before moving to the DFW area to attend UNT.  There he had a sand volleyball court at his dorm and played every day, even when it was below freezing outside and he had to wear socks!  He has a true love and passion for the game of volleyball, having played beach for close to 10 years and coaching for over 8.  He has coached 8 years of YMCA, 5 years of club ball, and was the Head Volleyball Coach for Founders Classical Academy of Flower Mound for 4 years.  During his tenure at FCA FM, his middle schools teams won their division and advanced to Regionals every single year. 

Fun fact: He has been married to his beautiful wife for over 30 years, they have three daughters together (2 of whom played school and club ball), and just recently became a grandparent to a beautiful baby girl in November!  He also is a big dog lover and has a beautiful Great Dane named Willow.  Lastly, he watches college volleyball every week and his favorite team is Nebraska.
