Michelle Murray


Michelle Murray played volleyball, basketball, softball and ran track throughout high school. In 1994, she went to Texas Woman's University on a partial volleyball scholarship. After breaking multiple TWU records and gaining national rankings, Michelle earned a full scholarship for her last two years of eligibility. She finished her college career in 1997 holding four school records and being the first TWU player named to the all-tournament regional team.

Michelle began professionally teaching and coaching in 1999 at Lewisville High School. In 2005, she decided to move to elementary physical education. In 2006 she earned a Master's of Science at TWU. She has coached multiple club teams and continues to coach at clinics, leagues and teaches private lessons.

Fun Facts: In her spare time Michelle enjoys running races and collecting medals. She hopes to run a full marathon someday.
