Krysta Argraves began her volleyball career at Billy Ryan High School in Denton, where she played as an outside hitter. She earned 2nd Team All-District and was named MVP of her varsity team in 2005. She also received Academic All-District honors for her hard work in the classroom. Krysta played club volleyball for Texas Juniors DFW (TVA Director Ronda’s club) for three consecutive years where she then was recruited to play at North Central Texas College. She earned a scholarship to play outside hitter for the Lady Lions where she received Academic All-Conference honors. Due to back injuries, Krysta’s playing career ended early but she continued with the team as the student assistant. Over the years, Krysta has refereed and coached various high school teams. She also coaches club for Dallas Synergy. She graduated from the University of North Texas, with honors, in May of 2010.
Fun facts: Krysta is married to Cole and they have a daughter on the way in June of 2014. She also has two Decker Terriers, Maverick and Harlee.
