Volleyball 101 Class for Parents and Athletes

New to volleyball or a veteran, you are guaranteed to learn
something new!

  •       What does it mean when a coach says we are "running a 6-2, 5-1, etc.?"

Clinic Descriptions:
Serving 1: Designed for young athletes who have not yet mastered a consistent overhand serve.
    Coach will focus on the fundamentals of serving.
Serving 2: Designed for the volleyball player who can consistently serve 75% of overhand serves
in the court.  Coach will focus on serving areas and increased power and control.
Ball Control: Coach will focus on fundamental ball control including serve receive, forearm
passing and overhead passing.
Hitting:  Coach will focus on correct hitting technique including the approach and arm swing.
Setting: All volleyball players need to know how to set.  Coach will focus on the basics of setting.
Hitting and setting: Coach will focus on offense and the combination of both skills..

4th, 5th and 6th grade leagues
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Divisions
All Leagues are FULL
Begins Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 and
concludes Tuesday, March 6th

  • Experienced coaches assigned to each team
  • Each night will consist of a 45 minute team practice (with same coach each
    week)followed by a 45 minute match against another team
  • Season ending tournament
  • Lighter weight ball (volley lite) and adjusted net size for younger age groups
  • 6:00pm to 7:30pm or 7:30-9:00pm sessions
  • Coppell Middle School NORTH (conveniently located on the SE corner of HWY 121
    and Denton Tap exit) (120 Natches Trace, Coppell, TX 75019)
  • Sign up as an individual or team (10 players per team)
  • Cost: $170 (includes t-shirt jersey)


7th and 8th Grade Program
Program is FULL
Not ready for the expense and time commitment of club volleyball?  
This program is designed to provide consistent weekly instruction on
volleyball skills, offensive and defensive systems and game strategy.  
Team instruction as well as specific instruction by position is provided.
Each session concludes with match play.

This program is perfect for athletes who are looking to continue
improving after middle school volleyball season, but aren't ready for
the financial and time commitment of club volleyball.

Teams will be practice and play matches on
Tuesday nights, for 16 weeks.

Our 7th/8th grade program is full.
